„Sonnenberg Hill“ or in the Brühl district. The factories grew up in between these
areas – including the production works of locomotive and machinery manufacturer
Richard Hartmann, for instance. Only a few of the buildings from this complex remain
– amongst which are the site of what is today the police headquarters and a
locomotive shed that is currently being converted into the Capital of Culture head-
