Der Schwerpunkt der eintägigen Sitzung lag auf der Übernahme folgender internationaler Normen des
ISO/TC 190 durch CEN/TC 345, gegen die sich Deutschland als einziges CEN-Mitglied aus formalen,
nicht jedoch fachlichen Gründen ausgesprochen hatte:
� ISO 16133, Soil quality – Guidance on the establishment and maintenance of monitoring
programmes;
� ISO 11260, Soil quality – Determination of effective cation exchange capacity and base saturation
level using barium chloride solution;
� ISO 23470, Soil quality – Determination of effective cation exchange capacity (CEC) and
exchangeable cations using a hexamminecobalt trichloride solution;
� ISO 14254, Soil quality – Determination of exchangeable acidity of barium chloride extract;
� ISO 22892, Soil quality – Guidelines for the identification of target compounds by gas
chromatography and mass spectrometry;

Die Behandlung der Projekte und der Projektabschluss werden sich bis 2011 hinziehen. DIN hat
anlässlich eines Gesprächs mit Vertretern des NEN im November 2010 darauf hingewiesen, dass
diese Vorgehensweise nicht gern gesehen wird.
Um zukünftig die nachträgliche Übernahme interessanter ISO-Projekte als EN-ISO-Normen zu
vermeiden, soll im Vorfeld, d. h. vor der Erstellung neuer ISO-Normen, seitens entsprechender CEN-
Gremien (z. B. CEN/TC 345) das europäische Interesse an diesen Dokumenten abgestimmt werden,
so dass eine kooperative Erarbeitung neuer EN-ISO-Normen nach den Regeln der "Wiener
Vereinbarung" erfolgen kann.
