Seats<br />

Raising the backrest<br />

Pull release lever 1 and fold up the<br />

backrest. Make sure that the seat belt<br />

is not trapped.<br />

Push the backrest backwards until the<br />

seat lock clicks audibly into place.<br />

Install the head restraints.<br />

Long-wheelbase station wagon: open<br />

the rear doors. This will allow you to<br />

reach release lever 1 more easily.<br />

Folding down the rear bench seat<br />

Fold down the backrest.<br />

Pull release lever 2 and fold the rear<br />

bench seat forwards until it engages.<br />

Raising the rear bench seat<br />

Fold the rear bench seat back until the<br />

seat lock clicks audibly into place.<br />

Raise the backrest.<br />

Install the head restraints.<br />

Side-facing rear bench seat* in the<br />

luggage compartment<br />

Risk of injury G<br />

Make sure that nobody can become trapped<br />

as the side-facing bench seat is folded<br />

down.<br />

The side-facing rear bench seat should only<br />

be occupied when the rear bench seat is<br />

raised and the seat lock is engaged.<br />

The rear bench seat head restraints must be<br />

installed.
