Steering column height
Press the lever up or down in the direction
of arrow 2. Make sure that you
can move your legs freely and that you
can see all the displays in the instrument
cluster clearly.
Mirrors
Before starting off, adjust the rear-view
mirror and the exterior mirrors in such a
way that you can get a good overview of
road and traffic conditions.
Rear-view mirror
Adjust the rear-view mirror manually.

In vehicles with the memory function
( page 102), you can store the steering
wheel position together with the position
of the seats and the exterior
mirrors.
Exterior mirrors
Risk of accident G
The exterior mirrors reduce the size of the
image. The objects are actually closer than
they appear.
The buttons are located on the left-hand
side of the dashboard.

2 Left-hand exterior mirror
3 Right-hand exterior mirror

Make sure that the ignition is switched
on.
Press button 2 for the left-hand exterior
mirror or button 3 for the righthand
exterior mirror.
Press button 1 at the top or bottom to
the right or left until you have adjusted
the exterior mirrors to the correct position.
