Controls in detail Operating system If malfunctions occur while you are driving, the number of malfunctions will be shown again in the display at the end of your journey (key in position 0 or removed from the ignition lock). Each malfunction is displayed for approximately five seconds. Press the reset button to display the next malfunction immediately. Press the reset button located on the left of the instrument cluster ( page 126) repeatedly until you have viewed all the malfunction messages. 138 i All malfunction messages are cleared from the malfunction memory when you turn the key back to position 1 or 2 in the ignition lock. To do this, press the reset button located on the left-hand side of the instrument cluster for approximately three seconds.
