Risk of accident G
The mirrors do not dim automatically if light
from other vehicles' headlamps cannot strike
the sensor in the rear-view mirror, e.g. when
towing a trailer or when the luggage compartment
is laden up to the roof.
You could be dazzled by incident light. You
may no longer be able to observe the traffic
conditions and could cause an accident. In
this case, you should dim the rear-view mirror
manually.
Risk of injury G
Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an automatic
anti-dazzle mirror breaks.
Electrolyte is an aggressive substance and
must not be allowed to come into contact with
the skin, eyes or respiratory organs.
If electrolyte comes into contact with the eyes
or skin, immediately rinse thoroughly with
clean water. Consult a doctor if necessary.
If electrolyte comes into contact with
the vehicle's paintwork, wash it off immediately
using clean water. It could
otherwise damage the paintwork.
The electrolyte can only be washed off
before it dries.
Heated exterior mirrors
The exterior mirrors are heated automatically
when the outside temperature is low.
