Cleaning the headlamps Cleaning the trailer tow hitch*<br />

Only use windscreen washer fluid that<br />

is suitable for plastic lamp lenses. Unsuitable<br />

windscreen washer fluid may<br />

cause damage to the plastic lenses of<br />

the headlamps.<br />

Do not use:<br />

a dry cloth<br />

abrasive products<br />

solvents<br />

cleaning agents which contain solvents<br />

You could otherwise scratch or damage<br />

the plastic lamp lenses.<br />

Clean the ball coupling if it is dirty.<br />

Remove dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth<br />

or a brush.<br />

Remove traces of rust with a wire<br />

brush.<br />

Do not clean the ball coupling with a<br />

high-pressure cleaner. Do not use any<br />

solvents.<br />

You should also lightly oil or grease the<br />

coupling ball after cleaning.<br />

car shampoo and a soft cloth.<br />
