Controls in detail<br />

Open-air<br />

Swing release lever 1 to the left until<br />

the warning sounds.<br />

Swing release lever 2 to the right.<br />

Press the soft-top switch in the direction<br />

of arrow 4 until the soft top<br />

comes to a halt above the windscreen.<br />

Using handle 5, pull the soft top<br />

downwards until you hear at least one<br />

release lever engage.<br />

Swing this release lever back to its<br />

original position.<br />

Swing the second release lever back to<br />

its original position.<br />

The warning will stop.<br />

If the soft top does not close automatically,<br />

you can close it manually<br />

( page 354).<br />

Avoid frequent opening and closing of<br />

the soft top. This drains the vehicle's<br />

battery.<br />

Draught stop*<br />

Risk of accident G<br />

Remove the draught stop if visibility is impaired<br />

or when driving in the dark. It may otherwise<br />

impair your view to the rear.<br />

Make sure that the draught stop is correctly<br />

engaged in the mountings.<br />

Do not drive with the draught stop fitted when<br />

the rear seat is occupied.<br />

Do not place any objects on the installed<br />

draught stop.<br />

The draught stop is a wind protection device<br />

to use when driving with the soft top<br />

open. It is located in its own bag behind the<br />

rear seat.
