Refuelling<br />

Risk of injury G<br />

Fuel is highly flammable. Fire, naked flames<br />

and smoking are therefore prohibited when<br />

handling fuels.<br />

Switch off the auxiliary heating* when refuelling.<br />

Do not allow fuel to come into contact with<br />

skin or clothing. Your health may be damaged<br />

if:<br />

you spill fuel onto your skin<br />

you inhale fuel vapours<br />

The fuel filler flap is located to the rear on<br />

the right-hand side when viewed in the direction<br />

of travel. When you lock or unlock<br />

the vehicle using the key, you automatically<br />

lock and unlock the fuel filler flap.<br />

Remove the key from the ignition lock.<br />

Refuelling<br />

Open fuel filler flap 1. To do this,<br />

press on fuel filler flap 1 (arrow).<br />

The fuel filler flap folds out.<br />

Turn fuel filler cap 2 anti-clockwise<br />

and remove it.<br />

Place fuel filler cap 2 in the holder on<br />

the inside of fuel filler flap 1.<br />

Only fill the tank until the pump nozzle<br />

switches off.<br />

Close fuel filler cap 2 again. To do<br />

this, turn it clockwise until it clicks into<br />

place.<br />

Close fuel filler flap 1.<br />

The catch engages.<br />
