Care
The following methods are sufficient if the
soft top is only lightly soiled:
dry cleaning
or
rinsing off with clean water
Do not use:
petrol or diesel
thinner
tar or stain remover
other organic solvents
Frequent cleaning impairs the dirt-repellent
properties of the soft top.

Intensive cleaning using MB Cabriolet top
care agents kit can restore these dirt-repellent
properties.
The soft top seams may start to leak either
as a result of ageing or of incorrect care
and cleaning. In this case, have the soft top
seams resealed at a qualified specialist
workshop, e.g. a Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre.

Cover the soft top with a suitable cover
if you are leaving the vehicle parked in
the open for any length of time.

Cleaning the windscreen and wiper
blades
Make sure that the windscreen wipers
are switched off ( page 41).
Risk of injury G
Remove the key from the ignition lock before
cleaning the windscreen or the wiper
blades. The windscreen wipers could otherwise
be set in motion and injure you.
Fold the wiper arms away from the
windscreen until you feel them engage.
You can now clean the windscreen and
wiper blades.
Fold the windscreen wipers back before
turning the key in the ignition lock.
