Thermatic (automatic air conditioning)<br />

Press the U button.<br />

The indicator lamp in the U button<br />

goes out. Automatic air distribution is<br />

switched off. Air distribution is controlled<br />

according to the current position of<br />

the controller.<br />

Turn the air-distribution controller to<br />

the required symbol.<br />

Adjusting the airflow manually Defrosting<br />

You can adjust the airflow automatically<br />

( page 187) or manually using controller<br />

1 ( page 184). There are six adjustment<br />

levels.<br />

Press the U button.<br />

The indicator lamp in the U button<br />

goes out. Automatic airflow control is<br />

switched off. The airflow is controlled<br />

according to the current level set.<br />

Turn the airflow controller to the required<br />

position.<br />

The airflow is controlled according to<br />

the level selected.<br />

Use the following settings to defrost the<br />

windscreen, e.g. when it is covered in ice.<br />

Press the P button.<br />

Maximum blower and heat output<br />

Air to the windscreen and the front<br />

side windows<br />

Windscreen heating* is switched<br />
