Thermatic (automatic air conditioning)
Press the U button.

The indicator lamp in the U button
goes out. Automatic air distribution is
switched off. Air distribution is controlled
according to the current position of
the controller.
Turn the air-distribution controller to
the required symbol.
Air distribution is controlled according
to the current position of the controller.
Adjusting the airflow manually Defrosting
You can adjust the airflow automatically
( page 187) or manually using controller
1 ( page 184). There are six adjustment
levels.
Press the U button.
The indicator lamp in the U button
goes out. Automatic airflow control is
switched off. The airflow is controlled
according to the current level set.
Turn the airflow controller to the required
position.
The airflow is controlled according to
the level selected.
Nur fuer internen Gebrauch
Use the following settings to defrost the
windscreen, e.g. when it is covered in ice.
Press the P button.
The indicator lamp in the button lights
up.
Thermatic automatically switches to
the following functions:
Maximum blower and heat output
Air to the windscreen and the front
side windows
Windscreen heating* is switched
on
Rear ventilation off
