Rear bench seat<br />

Risk of accident G<br />

For safety reasons, only adjust the rear<br />

bench seat when the vehicle is stationary.<br />

Risk of injury G<br />

The rear bench seat must be adjusted in<br />

such a way that the seat belt can be fastened<br />

correctly ( page 31).<br />

The back of the body must be against the<br />

backrest and the seat belt must be at shoulder<br />

height.<br />

Only drive with the head restraints fitted.<br />

This reduces the risk of injury in the event of<br />

an accident.<br />

The head restraint must support the back of<br />

your head at about eye level.<br />

Seat positions which do not allow you to<br />

wear your seat belt correctly are a safety<br />

hazard and must therefore be avoided.<br />

Make sure that nobody can become trapped<br />

as the seat is adjusted.<br />

Make sure that the seat lock clicks audibly<br />

into place.<br />

The rear bench seat is divided asymmetrically.<br />

You can move the left-hand and righthand<br />

sections separately to enlarge the<br />

luggage compartment. The following variations<br />

are possible:<br />

The backrests folded down<br />

The rear bench seat folded fully forwards<br />
