parts and accessories which have
been approved for your vehicle in terms of
their reliability, safety and suitability.
Despite ongoing market research,
Mercedes-Benz is unable to guarantee other
parts. Mercedes-Benz therefore accepts
no responsibility for the use of such parts
in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, even if they
have been independently or officially approved.
In Germany and other countries, certain
parts are only officially approved for installation
or modification work if they comply
with legal requirements. All genuine
Mercedes-Benz parts satisfy these regulations.

Make sure that replacement parts are suitable
for your vehicle. In many countries,
parts that constitute a modification to the
vehicle could invalidate the general operating
permit. This is the case if:
the type of vehicle approved in the general
operating permit has changed
it will endanger road users

emissions or vehicle noise levels
