Although the deities were once omnipotent, the mortal realm<br />

holds them prisoner. Since their fall, some of these gods fought to<br />

control the world, while others guided their worshippers toward<br />

a greater good, while others still, took refuge in their solitude to<br />

mourn their loss. Now, with their physical forms altered from the<br />

avatars of old, their bodies house the totality of their existence.<br />

Should this vessel perish, so too does the god.<br />

Wars haven’t been the only preoccupation for these fallen deities.<br />

Many bred with their mortal faithful, spawning offspring gied<br />

with divine heritage (see the Lesser Gi of Divine Heritage and<br />

The greater gods held the greatest power in the divine realm. They<br />

brought life to the world and to most of the lesser deities. In the<br />

mortal world, they remain the most powerful and influential beings<br />

in existence.<br />

Gamia<br />

The Wandering Voice, The Waylaying Merchant,<br />

The Hopping Raven (Faedian)<br />

Symbol: A many-spoked wheel firmly gripped<br />

at either side by a pair of female hands.<br />

Alignment: Neutral.<br />

Portfolio: Travel, trade, money.<br />

Domains: Humanoid (if bakad)*, Luck,<br />

Protection, Travel, Trickery.<br />

Worshippers: Pilgrims, merchants, bakad, innkeepers, messengers,<br />

teamsters.<br />

Favored Weapon: Quarterstaff.<br />

One of the first gods, Gamia showed her brethren the way to<br />

Existence and eventually to Gallentros—the Heavens. A robust<br />

woman draped in a simple shi, Gamia has wandered the world since<br />

Gods’ Fall, seeking only to further some enigmatic purpose, known<br />

only to her. As she enjoys observing mortals, Gamia travels among<br />

them in various guises. She might appear as a pilgrim wandering<br />

with other travelers, a mysterious merchant seeking to increase the<br />

The intermediate gods refined the creations of<br />

the greater gods. Although not as powerful as<br />

the greater gods, they are mighty enough to<br />

shape the future. Most of the wars following the<br />

Great Madness were instigated by these beings.<br />

Feats). Although these individuals descend from the gods, they are<br />

not themselves gods, merely mortals with the divine spark.<br />

The gods of the <strong>SpirosBlaak</strong> campaign seing are known by many<br />

names. Most use their actual name or an honorific. Faedian titles are<br />

different, for these people worship the gods in a unique manner. For<br />

Gamia is beloved of travelers, for the goddess blesses homes and<br />

business treating travelers kindly. She may herself be one of those<br />

vagabonds. Consequently, most inns, taverns, hostels, and way stations<br />

have icons of the Wandering Voice placed beside their main doors in<br />

anticipation of the time when the goddess will<br />

take notice of their devotion to her.<br />

Logothos<br />

The Hand of Inner Sight, The Keeper at the Gate,<br />

the Wise Jackal (Faedian)<br />

Symbol: A bare hand with fingers outstretched<br />

and staring eyes upon each<br />

fingertip.<br />

Alignment: Lawful neutral.<br />

Portfolio: Learning, knowledge, secrets.<br />

Domains: Air, Knowledge, Law, Mentor (if a<br />

mentor)*, Secrecy*.<br />

Worshippers: Scholars, scribes, explorers, mentors.<br />

Favored Weapon: None.<br />

Legend holds Logothos holds the secrets of existence. However,<br />

since Gods’ Fall, he has not been seen. He has a robust following in<br />

Askalan, a great city and home to the Grand Library of Zoetha.<br />

Alignment: Chaotic evil.<br />

Portfolio: Distraction, lost dreams, tricksters.<br />

Domains: Chaos, Distraction*, Evil, Time*, Trickery.<br />

Worshippers: Bards, entertainers, gambling house proprietors,<br />

innkeepers, and tricksters.<br />

Favored Weapon: Net.<br />

Akrasia, sister of Phaetos, is the chaotic evil goddess of failed<br />

resolutions and weakness of will. She is the patron deity of<br />

distractions preventing people from fulfilling their potential. When<br />

a fighter stays drinking in a tavern rather than training with his<br />

weapons and beering his skills, Akrasia is pleased. When a wizard
