CRUCERO, RA, adj. veta crucera, cross-vein, see crucero (2).
CRUCERO, (1) m.m. cross-cut, syn. barreno (7), Chile, estocada, trabajo
transversal. NOTE. A cross-cut in " country " or dead rock =
crucero (Ant. Col. cruzada) or travescajas, equiv. Fr. galerie a travers-
bancs, Ger. Querschlag, Querort, while a cross-cut in a mineral deposit,
but perpendicular to its direction = transversal, Asturias, Sp.
