are capable <strong>of</strong> spiral movement or circumnutation,<br />

which can be toward <strong>the</strong> right or <strong>the</strong> left, depending<br />

on <strong>the</strong> species<br />

wing (ala)- an elongate, membranaceous structure<br />

zygomorphic (zigomorfa)- having bilateral symmetry,<br />

i.e., with only one plane <strong>of</strong> symmetry
