A year course that uses a multi media approach "Character Based literacy" organized around the
study of classic literature that will survey literary form. The meaning and use of writing, reading,
listening and speaking skills will be used to produce a Technology Based Project.

This is a one-semester course for students that provides review and remediation for those students
who have not passed the CAHSEE English Test. Intensive instruction and experience is given in
mastering the standards emphasized on the CAHSEE Reading Comprehension, vocabulary, and
writing strategies will be emphasized as well as responding to literature.
