PERATING PLAN:<br />

H: GOVERNANCE CAPACITY<br />

The Integrity Educational Center Board is designed to be a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, benefit<br />

organization dedicated to promoting excellence in education within Northern California. The board<br />

consists of educators, business people and other stakeholders in the community.<br />

Integrity Educational Center Board shares the belief that creating a successful school environment<br />

for students who are considered at risk of dropping out will improve our society as a whole. Most<br />

often, this population being served is considered socio-economically disadvantaged.<br />

IEC will be governed in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Municipal laws and regulations<br />

relating to public agencies and charter schools . The Integrity Educational Board of Education agrees<br />

to voluntarily comply with the Ralph M Brown Act (government Code 54950,et seq.) and political<br />

Reform Act (government code 87100, et seq.). The school will be nonsectarian in its programs,<br />

gdmission policies, employment practices, and all other operations and will not discriminate based on<br />

race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, disability, or gender.<br />

SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL:<br />

The School Site Council (SSC) is mainly an advisory body holding the school responsible for its<br />

operations. The SSC will be formed shortly after the school commencement and will consist of:<br />

• The school principal<br />

• 1 teacher representative elected by the faculty<br />

• 1 parent representative elected by the parent Club<br />

• 1 student representative elected by the Student Council<br />
