Similarly, IEC and the district intend that they will jointly ensure that all students entitled to<br />

services under IDEA and California Educating Code Section 56000,et seq., will receive those services If<br />

needed, due to limited special education staff, the district may seek out contracts with other school<br />

districts, companies, or organizations to serve IEC students. To the extent that the district provides special<br />

education services to IEC, it shall be responsible for providing all services to all students of IEC<br />

regardless of their school district residence. IEC commits to informing the district of residence as well as<br />

JSD when a student with exceptional needs has enrolled .<br />

IDENTIFICATION AND REFERRAL:<br />

IEC will work cooperatively with the district in identifying and referring students who have or may<br />

have exceptional needs that qualify them to receive Special Education services. IEC will develop,<br />

maintain, and implement policies and procedures to ensure identification and referral of students who<br />

have, or may have, such exceptional needs congruent with district and SELPA policies and California law.<br />

For any student enrolling from a non-district school, Integrity Educational Center is responsible for<br />

requesting the cumulative files prior and or current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and other special<br />

education information from the sending district.<br />

The district shall provide IEC with any assistance it generally provides other public schools in the<br />

identification process.<br />
