I: MANAGEMENT CAPACITY<br />

Integrity Educational Center will comply with the existing regulations that apply to charter schools<br />

including Cal/OSHA and EPA regulations. Records of student immunizations will be maintained, and<br />

staff will honor all applicable requirements for periodic tuberculosis (TB) tests. Each applicant is required<br />

to provide Integrity educational Center with a full disclosure statement regarding prior criminal record as<br />

required by the California Education Code Section 44830 1 and to undergo a criminal background check.<br />

Immunization of students is a condition of school attendance to the same extent as would apply if the<br />

students attended a non- charter public school. The methods for reporting alleged improprieties, such as<br />

child abuse, acts of violence, and other improprieties, will be followed and mandated by the state of<br />

lifornia. The procedure for the mandated staff will be to file a report within 36 hours of first becoming<br />

of a suspected case of child abuse. The report will be filed with either the Police Department, Child<br />

Abuse unit or the Department of Children and Family Services. The staff member will meet with the<br />

appropriate authorities accordingly. Prior to the commencement of each school year, staff will receive in-<br />

Service training and sign a document verifying notification and understanding regarding this<br />

responsibility. In addition, staff will receive annual training on the detection of child abuse.<br />

Integrity Educational Center will maintain all insurance, liability, and compensatory coverage and<br />

will comply with other regulations, such as fire and safety codes, as required by the federal, state and city<br />

laws. The site will have the capacity to provide first aid in the event of minor medical emergencies.<br />
