This essay appraises the growth and survival
of M. americanum juveniles, a prawn from
the west coast of America, based on the
effect of stocking size on wild specimens
maintained in tanks. Trial lasted 84 days
with a final survival from 55 to 72% depending
on their stocking size. Significant differences
in growth throughout the trial were
obtained.
