Note: It is possible that some tenderer is able to demonstrate<br />

above items <strong>of</strong> S.No. 3 as an integrated approach through items <strong>of</strong><br />

S.No. 4 and 5. In such case, the tenderer demonstrating through<br />

items <strong>of</strong> S.No. 4 and 5 shall be awarded marks <strong>for</strong> corresponding<br />

items <strong>of</strong> S.No. (3), S.No.(4) and S.No. (5)<br />

4 Capability <strong>of</strong> carrying out integrated in-house testing <strong>of</strong> Prototype<br />

Lab model through Simulator with two stations unit lab models<br />

and two locomotive unit lab models {except <strong>for</strong> item 4(x)}<br />

communicating each other at RF level and using train movement<br />

simulated through RFID tags with readiness to demonstrate<br />

following items to designated Railway Committee.<br />

(i) Display <strong>of</strong> Red, Green, Yellow, Double Yellow Signal Aspects in<br />

Loco Cab<br />

(ii) Distance to next Signal at Red (Stop / Danger Aspect) at same<br />

interlocking in Loco Cab<br />

(iii) Command <strong>for</strong> application <strong>of</strong> brakes to a train approaching too fast<br />

to a signal at Red.<br />

(iv) Release <strong>of</strong> command <strong>for</strong> application <strong>of</strong> brake when the Movement<br />

Authority is increased by taking <strong>of</strong>f a signal which was earlier at<br />

Red.<br />

(v) Demonstration <strong>of</strong> provision <strong>for</strong> passing a signal at Red by<br />

Override from Driver Machine Interface<br />

(vi) Generation <strong>of</strong> Brake Application Command to prevent Head-on<br />

collision between trains on same track not otherwise prevented to<br />

be so on same track.<br />

(vii) Generation <strong>of</strong> Brake Application Command to prevent Rear-end<br />

<strong>Collision</strong> between trains on same track not otherwise prevented to<br />

be so on same track.<br />

(viii) Generation <strong>of</strong> Brake Command on reception <strong>of</strong> SOS message<br />

from a train or station in vicinity.<br />

(ix) Generation <strong>of</strong> Brake Command on reception <strong>of</strong> “Unusual<br />

Stoppage message” from other train in vicinity while approaching<br />

it.<br />
