6.44. When Loco unit does not have the signal ID <strong>of</strong> the signal being approached<br />

due to either re-start <strong>of</strong> Loco unit or after passing RFID tag (which is 2000m<br />

from FSS) at the start <strong>of</strong> TCAS territory or passing Signal at Danger after<br />

following the prescribed operating rules or due to any other reason, Loco TCAS<br />

shall request <strong>for</strong> the same from Stationary unitin the <strong>for</strong>m <strong>of</strong> packet as<br />

described in Annexure-II with bit details as in Annexure-VII.<br />

6.45. When Loco passes over the RFID tag provided at the Block Entry, it shall<br />

transmit the packet as described in Annexure-II with bit details as in Annexure-<br />

VII.<br />

6.46. When Loco passes over the RFID tag provided at the Station Entry &then<br />

travels equal to its train length, it shall transmit the packet as described in<br />

Annexure-II with bit details as in Annexure-VII.<br />

Connectivity <strong>of</strong> Station/ IBS/ Gate unit with interlocking<br />

6.47. Station/ IBS/ Gate unit shall be capable <strong>of</strong> taking potential free inputs. It shall<br />

be capable <strong>of</strong> taking minimum 64inputs (expandable upto 256inputseither by<br />

providing additional I/O cards or by cascading multiple Station/ IBS/ Gate unit).<br />

6.48. The break status <strong>of</strong> potential free contact shall indicate absence input.<br />

6.49. Signal aspect, point position <strong>of</strong> points taking <strong>of</strong>f from main line, berthing track<br />

circuit status, status <strong>of</strong> block instrument Line Closed condition etc. shall be<br />

interfaced to Station/ IBS/ Gate unit input through potential free contacts,<br />

depending upon requirement. The point position <strong>of</strong> points shall be interfaced to<br />

station unit in the <strong>for</strong>m <strong>of</strong> only two inputs <strong>for</strong> each main line <strong>of</strong> the station as<br />

shown in the diagram below and depending upon the status <strong>of</strong> these two<br />

inputs, station unit shall decide whether the line is set <strong>for</strong> main line or not.<br />

Similar to as shown above, there shall be inputs like A & B <strong>for</strong> each main line <strong>of</strong><br />

the station<br />

6.50. IBS & Gate unit shall not require inputs <strong>for</strong> point position & berthing track circuit<br />

status. Gate unit shall not require input <strong>for</strong> status <strong>of</strong> block instrument Line<br />

Closed condition.<br />
