4.17 The firmware and application tools provided shall not have any time-bar limit.<br />

4.18 The Radio Transmission from any <strong>of</strong> the Loco or Stationary TCAS unit shall be<br />

switched on only with consent <strong>of</strong> RDSO.<br />

4.19 The application data shall have to be modified by the tenderer in case alteration in<br />

the layout is carried out by the Railway during the execution <strong>of</strong> the work.<br />

4.20 The tenderer shall in<strong>for</strong>m RDSO in advance and obtain approval in writing<br />

whenever they change system s<strong>of</strong>tware or application data or s<strong>of</strong>tware or any <strong>of</strong> the<br />

mode/ configuration setting <strong>of</strong> the system or equipments used in the sub-system.<br />

4.21 As part <strong>of</strong> design and development, Vendor is required to provide and install the<br />

system in RDSO with two Stationary (Station) TCAS units, two Locomotive TCAS<br />

units, set <strong>of</strong> RFID tags with spares including all components and Simulator with<br />

final firmware suitable <strong>for</strong> Lab demonstration as well <strong>for</strong> functioning in the field<br />

with facility to test Multi-vendor interoperability.<br />

4.22 The firmware versions with all configuration parameter settings <strong>of</strong> TCAS units and<br />

simulator wherever applicable, <strong>of</strong> Lab demonstration, Field demonstration with<br />

multi-vendor interoperability stage and modified on account <strong>of</strong> Safety Assessment<br />

<strong>for</strong> SIL certification shall be provided to RDSO such that the same should be<br />

possible to be used <strong>for</strong> the system provided <strong>for</strong> RDSO Lab. The tenderer is also<br />

supposed to provide the hardware component in case he changes it during the<br />

course <strong>of</strong> development.<br />

4.23 Brief Description <strong>of</strong> Signalling & Telecom assets in the Wadi (Excluding) –<br />

Vikarabad – Lingampalli – Bidar section:<br />

4.23.1 The section is having all Panel Interlocked stations with IBS and mid Block<br />

Section Level Crossing Gates as shown in the table. The section from<br />

Lingampalli to Wadi (Excluding) is double line Electrified section with<br />

Double Line Lock and Block Instruments. Block Proving / IBS Axle<br />

Counter is presently provided in Lingmapalli – Vikarabad – Tandur section.<br />

The section from Vikarabad to Bidar is Single Line Non-electrified section<br />

with podanur type push button block instruments.<br />

4.23.2 All the stations are Central Panel interlocked stations except <strong>for</strong> Vikarabad.<br />

Vikarabad Station is having two end-panels and one panel <strong>for</strong> the purpose<br />

<strong>of</strong> slotting at Central Location. However, the status <strong>of</strong> all signal aspects,<br />

Track circuits, points, block section occupation is covered by both the endpanel<br />

locations. Status <strong>of</strong> all the signal aspects <strong>of</strong> Level Crossing Gate no. 3<br />

(mid- block section interlocked Level Crossing Gate between Sadashivpet<br />

Road and Vikarabad) are covered by Vikarabad and Level Crossing Gate<br />

no. 4 (mid- block section interlocked Level Crossing Gate between<br />

Sadashivpet Road and Vikarabad) in such a way that they are available at<br />

either <strong>of</strong> Vikarabad and Level Crossing Gate no. 4. There<strong>for</strong>e, separate<br />

stationary TCAS unit is not required at Level Crossing Gate no. 3.<br />

Similarly, Status <strong>of</strong> all the signal aspects <strong>of</strong> Level Crossing Gate no. 43<br />

(mid- block section interlocked Level Crossing Gate between Matalkunta<br />

and Bidar) are covered by Bidar and Level Crossing Gate no. 42 (midblock<br />

section interlocked Level Crossing Gate between Sadashivpet Road<br />
