G. C. C. P.," were appointed in each county to sit with the<br />

regular justices <strong>of</strong> that court, wliicli was to hear and de-<br />

termine all matters <strong>of</strong> which Courts <strong>of</strong> Sestiuns had for-<br />

merly jurisdiction.'<br />

bridge, first Monday <strong>of</strong> June and second Monday <strong>of</strong><br />

December. Criminal terms at Cambridge, second Monday<br />

in February and first Monday in June ; at Lowell, third<br />

Monday in October.<br />

In 1867 the courts which had been held at Concord were<br />

removed to Cambridge, the county buildings at Concord<br />

becoming, subsequently, the property <strong>of</strong> that town.°<br />
