Exercise<br />
Step 1<br />
• Ask the participants to come up with situations that are dangerous for pregnant <strong>women</strong><br />
• If they come up with a situation that is shown on one of the cards, place the card at a place<br />
where everyone can see it <strong>and</strong> discuss it briefly<br />
• When they do not come up with more situations but you have cards left, show them one by one<br />
<strong>and</strong> ask what they think of each situation. Place the cards with the others<br />
Step 2<br />
• Let them think about what is important for pregnant <strong>women</strong> at work<br />
• If they come up with points that are shown on one of the cards, show the card <strong>and</strong> discuss it<br />
briefly<br />
• When there are cards left, show them <strong>and</strong> ask them what they see. If they think the situation<br />
on the card is an issue, place it with the other cards. If it is not an issue according to the<br />
participants, leave it out<br />
Step 3<br />
• Explain the rules for Maternity leave according to the Labour Protection Act<br />
• Ask the participants the following questions:<br />
- Do they get maternity leave at their work?<br />
- For how many days?<br />
- How much of their salary do they get during this period?<br />
