14 E'ffect of temporary exposure to air: Only D. antarctica was used. Lamina samples of IS fertile female plants were collected at full tide at Halfmoon Bay, Kaikouxa. Measurenent is difficult, especially on outer coasts, because of the major complicating factor caused by variable shore topography.
