4) Start recording by pressing the PLAY/STOP button while the REC button LED is blinking. There is an<br />
automatic two bar count in before the CP begins recording. If you are recording on the Style track you<br />
must press the START/STOP or INTRO buttons instead of the PLAY/STOP button. When recording a<br />
Style there is no two bar count in, recording begins immediately.<br />
You can cancel recording at anytime by pressing the REC button again or by pressing the F1 button to<br />
return to the Advanced Recorder menu.<br />
• When you select a Style to record the default tempo for that Style is ignored. The Style will use<br />
the current tempo setting for the song instead. You can set the desired tempo on the Real-time<br />
record screen before recording or change the tempo after you have recorded in Song Edit or on<br />
the tempo track in Event Edit.<br />
• When you are recording on the Style track only the Style will be recorded. The style track will<br />
record any chords (to the chord track) you play but the actual notes you are playing will not be<br />
recorded.<br />
• When the recording is done, the Mixer screen will automatically be displayed.<br />
To play back the recorded song:<br />
1) Press the RESET button in the RECORDER section of the front panel to return to the first bar of the<br />
song.<br />
2) Press the PLAY/STOP button to play back the song.<br />
3) Press the PLAY/STOP button again to stop at any time.<br />
4) Pressing the PLAY/STOP button again resumes the playback from the bar where you stopped.<br />
5) Use the RWD or FWD buttons to rewind or fast-forward through the recording.<br />
Mixer<br />
On the Mixer screen, you can change the following settings for each of the 16 tracks: Reverb level,<br />
Chorus level, Effect on/off, Panning, Track mute, Volume level.<br />
To use the Mixer:<br />
1) Use the TRACK buttons (F2, F3) to select which of the 16 tracks you wish to make changes to.<br />
2) Use the L1 and L5 buttons to choose the track setting that you want to change.<br />
3) Use the Dial to change the value.<br />
