18–11. General guidelines<br />

General fitting instructions for this uniform are provided in chapter 1 <strong>of</strong> this regulation. When the <strong>Army</strong> white uniform<br />

is worn to social functions, soldiers may wear gold or gold-colored cuff links <strong>and</strong> studs. The black all-weather coat is<br />

authorized for wear. Personnel may wear white gloves with the basic uniform. Black oxford shoes with black socks are<br />

the only authorized footwear.<br />

Chapter 19<br />

<strong>Army</strong> White Uniform—Female<br />

19–1. Authorization for wear<br />

a. The <strong>Army</strong> white uniform is authorized for wear by all female personnel as an optional dress uniform. Personnel<br />

normally wear this uniform from April to October, except in clothing zones I <strong>and</strong> II where they may wear it year-round<br />

(see CTA 50–900). (See fig 19–1 for the <strong>Army</strong> white uniform, female.)<br />
