Utility uniforms Uniforms normally worn in the field, during training, or while performing duties where it is not practical or appropriate to wear a service uniform. Utility uniforms include the temperate, hot weather, enhanced hot-weather, aviation, and desert BDUs, the maternity work uniform, and the cold-weather uniform.
