. General description. The trousers are straight legged without cuffs, <strong>and</strong> with side <strong>and</strong> hip pockets. The left hip<br />

pocket has a buttonhole tab <strong>and</strong> button.<br />

c. Trouser leg ornamentation. Ornamental braid is sewn on each outside seam <strong>of</strong> the trouser leg, from the bottom <strong>of</strong><br />

the waistb<strong>and</strong> to the bottom <strong>of</strong> the trouser leg, as follows.<br />

(1) General <strong>of</strong>ficers. Each trouser leg has two 1 ⁄2-inch wide black mohair, polyester, or mercerized cotton braids<br />

sewn 1 ⁄2 inch apart.<br />

(2) Other <strong>of</strong>ficers. Each leg has one braid, 1 1 ⁄2 inches in width, made <strong>of</strong> black mohair, polyester, or mercerized<br />

cotton braid.<br />

(3) Enlisted personnel. The trouser leg is plain.<br />

15–8. Shirt, long- <strong>and</strong> short-sleeved<br />

a. The clothing bag (issue) shirt is a pre-cured durable press, 65/35 polyester <strong>and</strong> cotton broadcloth shirt, AG shade<br />

415, in short- <strong>and</strong> long-sleeved versions. (See figs 15–7, 15–8, <strong>and</strong> 15–9.) The shirt is a dress type with shoulder loops,<br />

a seven-button front, <strong>and</strong> two pleated pockets with button-down flaps.<br />
