(2) Subdued insignia. C<strong>and</strong>idates wear the subdued O.C.S. insignia on all utility shirts <strong>and</strong> cold-weather jackets in<br />

the same manner as the full-color insignia worn on shirt collars, as described above. All military personnel will wear<br />

this insignia while students at <strong>of</strong>ficer c<strong>and</strong>idate schools.<br />

28–15. <strong>Insignia</strong> for warrant <strong>of</strong>ficer c<strong>and</strong>idates<br />

a. Description. The non-subdued warrant <strong>of</strong>ficer c<strong>and</strong>idate insignia consists <strong>of</strong> the block letters “W.O.C.” in goldcolored<br />

metal, 7/16 inch in height, with each letter followed by a period. The subdued insignia is the same design as<br />

above, except it is black (see fig 28–133).<br />
