Program Code: 1530<br />

Description of Program: The A.S. degree in Electronics<br />

Engineering prepares you for employment in the electronics<br />

field, in such areas as technology, engineering and science; in<br />

various disciplines involving research, design, manufacturing,<br />

electronic equipment sales, computers, communications, and<br />

industrial control systems. You will be provided the knowledge<br />

and skills needed to assist engineers in the application of<br />

electrical and electronic principles and procedures to the<br />

areas of design, development, production, testing, and<br />

maintenance. Course content includes, but is not limited to<br />

basic concepts of electricity and electronics, theory and use<br />

of electrical and electronics test instruments, interpretation<br />

of circuit diagrams, basic electrical and electronics<br />

technical drawing and digital electronics with emphasis on<br />

minicomputer systems.<br />
