AMH 2070 HISTORY OF FLORIDA 3 cr. hrs.<br />
This course outlines chronologically the economic, social,<br />
geographic, and political background of <strong>Florida</strong> from the time<br />
of discovery through settlement, colonization and statehood.<br />
Current issues including the impact of urbanization, tourism,<br />
and industrialization are emphasized. Topics in this course<br />
include but are not limited to historical explorations,<br />
political developments, population growth, economic and<br />
