This course prepares you for entry level into the job market.<br />
You will learn vehicle systems, D.O.T. rules and regulations,<br />
safety, logs and other legal topics of interest to trucking<br />
and transportation. Additional topics include safe operation,<br />
Smith System (fi ve principles of defensive driving), cargo<br />
handling, hazardous materials, personal fi nances, business<br />
math, in public and employer relations. You will receive<br />
extensive hands-on experience in emergency equipment,<br />
safe operations, and preventive maintenance. This course<br />
will prepare you for the Commercial Driving License (CDL)<br />

TRA 0260 CDL FOR ELECTRICAL LINE SERVICE I<br />

This introductory CDL course provides instruction for<br />
you, if you are in the Electrical Distribution Technology<br />
(EDT) Program. It allows you to gain training and valuable<br />
experience operating EDT vehicles, learning safe driving<br />
practices, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements,<br />
and applicable driving laws and regulations. Prerequisite:<br />

TRA 0261 CDL FOR ELECTRICAL LINE SERVICE II<br />

This course provides you valuable experience, if you are in<br />
the Electrical Line Service (ELS) Program. You will operate<br />
ELS vehicles and learn how to pre-trip, conduct vehicle<br />
inspection procedures, and carry out basic vehicle control<br />

TRA 0262 CDL FOR ELECTRICAL LINE SERVICE III<br />

This advanced CDL course provides you valuable experience<br />
operating ELS vehicles, if you are in the Electrical Line Service<br />
(ELS) Program. Course instruction includes demonstration<br />
of trailer hookups, basic vehicle maneuvers, road driving<br />
skills under normal conditions, and demonstrating hazardous<br />
