This course provides paramedic rescue emergencies<br />
instruction for the Paramedic Certifi cate Program and meets<br />
the requirements of the National Highway Safety Traffi c<br />
Administration National Standards Curriculum. Course<br />
instruction includes: rescue awareness and operations;<br />
ambulance operations; hazardous materials; crime scene<br />
awareness; and EMS response to terrorism. Prerequisite:<br />

This course is a survey of the development of British literature<br />
from Anglo-Saxon times through the eighteenth century,<br />
with attention to the historical background, the continuity of<br />
essential traditions, and the characteristic fl avor of the other<br />
subsequent periods. Critical essays and oral reports are<br />
