Description of Program: The A.S. in Computer Information<br />

Systems prepares you as entry-level computer programmer,<br />

soft-ware applications specialist, data processing assistant,<br />

and/or Internet/Web design assistant. SFCC has developed<br />

an “articulation” agreement with Webber International<br />

University, Babson Park, FL. If you are an SFCC graduate<br />

of the A.S. degree in Computer Information Systems, this<br />

agreement affords you the opportunity to transfer all the listed<br />

courses and attend Webber with junior standing toward a<br />

B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems. If you want<br />

to transfer to Webber upon completion of your A.S.<br />

degree, you should first consult with SFCC and Webber<br />

representatives regarding program requirements.<br />

• A maximum of two courses can be transferred to substitute for a<br />

Webber CIS 3XX level course in the CIS major. In this A.S. degree<br />

program in Computer Information Systems, SFCC is requiring<br />

COP 2810 and will substitute for Webber’s CIS 360. Only 1 other<br />

course may transfer and substitute for a CIS 3XX level course.<br />

• No substitutions for a Webber CIS 4XX level courses. Also, the<br />

emphasis Webber puts on visual basic in CIS 435 is on database<br />

programming. You must have a course in Microsoft Access first.<br />

• Webber International University will accept up to 69 hours of<br />

transferable credit.<br />

+ If completing ACG 2021 instead of ACG 2001 and ACG <strong>2011</strong>, you<br />

must also complete an additional 3 hour Professional Elective.<br />

Description of Program: The A.A.S. degree in Computer<br />

Programming and Analysis prepares you as an entry-level<br />

programmer in PROGRAM the microcomputer DELETED environment. A variety<br />

of programming Replaced languages, with new software Computer applications, and<br />
