documents, text enhancements, switch features, and merging<br />

This course is a continuation Medical Terminology I which<br />

introduces you to the medical language used by healthcare<br />

professionals. You will complete the principles of medical<br />

processes and pharmacology of specifi c body systems.<br />

In addition to completing the body systems, you will be<br />

introduced to radiology, pathology and mental health, utilizing<br />

This course introduces you to the profession and to the role of<br />

the medical transcriptionist. Emphasis is placed on business<br />

and the machine transcription of various medical documents,<br />

proofreading, editing and research. Prerequisites: OST<br />

will also learn to order supplies, maintain inventory, keep<br />

records and fi les, manage data, and perform transcription.<br />
