Non-credit bearing modules<br />

It is not possible to take non-credit bearing individual modules related to Postgraduate Laws programme.<br />

6.6 (GR)<br />

The completion of a non-credit bearing module or modules will not be taken into account for admission or for<br />

credit, to a related or unrelated Postgraduate degree or diploma.<br />

6.7 (GR)<br />

A student who is registered for a non-credit bearing module or modules may apply to register for a degree or<br />

diploma provided they satisfy the entrance requirements for the certificate, diploma or degree concerned.<br />

Such students may be required to cancel their existing registration <strong>and</strong> submit a fresh application for<br />

registration <strong>and</strong> comply with the Programme Regulations for the certificate, diploma or degree.<br />

7 Marks<br />

7.1<br />

The pass mark for an individual module is 50%.<br />

See Appendix D for information on how to achieve a particular mark.<br />

7.2 (GR)<br />

A mark or grade awarded for an individual module will not replace any mark or grade for a degree or diploma<br />

already awarded.<br />

8 Receiving the Certificate of Registration <strong>and</strong> Certificate of<br />

Achievement<br />

8.1 (GR)<br />

All students registered with the University as an International Programmes student for individual modules will<br />

receive a certificate of registration provided that:<br />

they have complied with the Regulations in all respects <strong>and</strong><br />

have made satisfactory payment to the University of all due fees.<br />

8.2 (GR)<br />

A certificate of achievement will be presented to students who have satisfactorily completed the assessment<br />

of an individual module for which they are registered, provided that:<br />

they have also successfully completed any study requirements for the module concerned <strong>and</strong><br />

have complied with the Regulations in all respect <strong>and</strong><br />

have made satisfactory payment to the University of all due fees.<br />

8.3 (GR)<br />

The University reserves the right not to present a certificate to a student who fails to satisfy any of the<br />

conditions described in paragraphs 8.1 <strong>and</strong> 8.2.<br />

Receiving related awards<br />

8.4<br />

A student who has successfully completed the formal assessment of the relevant credit bearing module may<br />

apply to receive any related awards provided they satisfy the requirements for those awards <strong>and</strong> the<br />

application is made within three years of the completion of the relevant modules.<br />

9 Fees <strong>and</strong> refunds<br />

Details of the fees payable will be given to students as they fall due. See also<br />

www.londoninternational.ac.uk/fees<br />

A fee is also normally payable to all examination centres other than London. The University is not responsible<br />

for this fee <strong>and</strong> cannot influence the level of fee charged.<br />
