When you access a built-in function from the Insert Function dialog box, the Function Arguments dialog
box displays a description of each argument. Unfortunately, you can’t provide such descriptions for custom
functions.

The information in this chapter only scratches the surface when it comes to creating custom functions. It
should be enough to get you started, however, if you’re interested in this topic. Refer to Chapter 44 for
more examples of useful VBA functions. You may be able to use the examples directly or adapt them for
your needs.
