Teach-in of the
paper sensor
The contrast threshold can be programmed with the use of the “Teachin”
rotary switch on the sensor itself. For this purpose, the paper sensor
must be connected to the control unit, which must be switched on.
You need a small Phillips screwdriver to set the rotary switch to the four
positions:
• S = Switching mode (normal operation mode)
• TM = Teach-in mark
• TB = Teach-in background
• TD = Teach-in dynamic (not used)
The switch modes are activated after a lag of 1 second. That means that
the switch must be for at least 1 second in the new position before the
sensor accepts the required mode (indicated by the flashing sequence of
the indication LEDs).
