How to adjust the encoder:
• Select PRINT REFERENCE and print the reference print.
Please note that this is a reference print. It will always be printed without any
calibration values and will therefore not change.
Material size
A material with a minimum size of 297 mm respectively 11” in
transport direction is required to perform the reference print.
• On the reference print, measure the distance between the left edge of the first bar
and the left edge of the last bar (see Figure 25).
• Select SET CALIBRATION and enter the measured value here. Confirm it with the Ok
key. The last digit of your entered value might be rounded to the next printer
conform value.
• Correct any minor variations, in the printed image that may still be visible and occur
on several pages in a row, with the ADJUSTMENT GAP and ADJUSTMENT STEPS
settings.
