Oak Creek Power Plant (OCPP)<br />

4801 East Elm Road, Oak Creek, Wisconsin 53154<br />

This 1154 MW pulverized coal-fired plant is located in the city of Oak Creek,<br />

Milwaukee County, near the Milwaukee-Racine county line. It supplies<br />

electrical energy to the company's power grid and produces approximately<br />

112,000 tons of fly ash and 23,000 tons of bottom ash by burning a subbituminous<br />

coals. Fly ash and bottom ash are handled by separate<br />

conveyance/storage systems.<br />

All bottom ash is removed as necessary by the company's designated bottom<br />

ash marketing agent, A.W. Oakes & Son, who manages a stock pile for this<br />

product on site. <strong>The</strong> stock pile allows for beneficial use activities that require<br />

larger quantities of materials.<br />

Oak Creek Power Plant also has a 20,000 ton fly ash storage facility for winter<br />

production.<br />

Pleasant Prairie Power Plant (PPPP)<br />

8000 95th Street, Kenosha, Wisconsin 53142<br />

This 1210 MW, pulverized coal-fired plant is located in the town of Pleasant<br />

Prairie in Kenosha County. Each year it produces approximately 231,000 tons<br />

of fly ash and 51,000 tons of bottom ash by burning a blend of low sulfur subbituminous<br />

coals. Each CCP is handled by separate conveyance/storage<br />

systems. Fly ash that is not immediately transported offsite by the Company’s<br />

designated fly ash marketing agent, Lafarge, can be stored on site in a<br />

company-owned 12,000 ton capacity storage building.<br />
