Appendix I: Sayings of thePromised Messiah as on theFinality of ProphethoodBelow are a series of quotations of Hazrat Mirzā GhulāmAhmad Qādiānī as , the Promised Messiah and Imām Mahdī, on theissue of the finality of prophethood. They expound his stance on thisissue and serve to dispel misconceptions and misunderstandings abouthis writings that are spread by the anti-Ahmadiyya.My critic has further objected that God Almighty has said:دِيْنَكمُ‏ ْ عَلَيْكمُ‏ ْ نِعْمَتىِ‏ ْلَكمُ‏ ُاَكمْ‏ ‏َلْ‏ ‏ُت اَلْيَوْمَ‏ لَكمُ‏ ْوَاَتْمَمْ‏ ‏ُتالاْ‏ ‏ِسْ‏ لاَ‏ مَ‏ دِيْنًا 312ؕ‏َورَ‏ ضِ‏ يْ‏ ‏ُتTherefore no reformer or prophet is now needed. In so thinkingthe critic has raised an objection against the Holy Qur’ān itself,inasmuch as the Holy Qur’ān has promised the appointment ofsuccessors from among the Muslims and has said that throughthem faith would be strengthened, doubts would be set at restand security would be restored after a state of fear.
