38 With Love to Muhammad sa the Khātam-un-NabiyyīnIt must be noted that the writer of this book died in 828 Hijrī!Hence, those 30 who broke the seal and claimed independentprophethood came a long time ago!Third, if Farhan Khan’s faulty understanding is correct,then no prophets can ever come after the Holy ProphetMuhammad sa . Hence, whoever claims to be a prophet has to be adajjāl [i.e., liar or deceiver]. If this is correct, then the statementsof the Holy Prophet sa regarding the coming of a prophet in thefuture would be incorrect, and by stating this, Farhan Khan isessentially accusing the Holy Prophet sa of contradicting himself.In quoting the Holy Prophet sa , he states that there can be noprophet after him whatsoever, yet the Holy Prophet sa himself hasstated that a prophet will come and not only that, he repeatedlyemphasized the importance of accepting the truth of thatprophet! The following ahādīth by the Holy Prophet sa clearlyindicate he prophesied the coming of a prophet in the LatterDays:بaااللهa aوaاحابہ ٰThe prophet of Allāh, Jesus, and his companions 17aہaامaبaوaاہaازل۔a۔a۔a ٰ aaہبaوaبaسThere is no prophet between me and him i.e. ‘Īsā as and he shalldescend (in the future) 18Farhan Khan’s understanding ignores these ahādīth whichclearly speak of a prophet to come after the Holy ProphetMuhammad sa .
