This is essential in order to assure publicauthorities and insurance companies of the actual benefits before they canmake decision on any incentives.o The industry makes progressively the system available in more models ofnew cars.o Clearer liability policies need to be created in order to safeguard thecustomer’s interests while not hindering the roll-out of the safetyimproving systemso Customer awareness needs to be increased by including and maintainingobstacle and collision warning system in the EuroNCAP system, whichrequires that the identification and performance of various obstacle andcollision warning systems in different cars can be verified in a satisfactorymanner.
