hager"DALI Gateway C00Cx2" softwareFunctional descriptionStaircase timer functionThe Staircase timer function that can be parameterized separately can be used for implementing timecontrolledstaircase lighting or functionally similar applications. The Staircase timer function must havebeen enabled in the "Groups - [x] group name – Staircase timer function" parameter node to make therequired communication objects and parameters visible. The Staircase timer function can beparameterized only for the groups 1 ... 16.The Staircase timer function is controlled via the “Start/Stop Staircase timer function” communicationobject and depends on the “Switching” object of the group (cf. figure 24). This permits a 'paralleloperation' of time and normal control, with always the last command being executed.A telegram to the "Switching" object during an active Staircase timer function ends the staircaselighting time prematurely and sets the switching status according to the object value (time delays takeninto account). Similarly, the switching state of the "Switching" object can be overridden by a Staircasetimer function.In combination with a disable function a time-independent permanent lighting function can also be setup (cf. "Disable function").The Staircase timer function can be extended by a pre-warning function. The brightness of the DALIgroup can be reduced during the pre-warning. The DALI group switches toswitch-on brightness. At the end of the staircase lighting time, the DALI group switches off or optionallyactivates the pre-warning time (T prewarn ) of the pre-warning function (cf. Setting the pre-warning functionof the Staircase timer function").
