The test logs must be kept on the site and if necessaryshown to HPE.The user must submit all mobile electrical equipment and, in principle, all tools, to a visual check tosee whether there is any detectable damage or defects before each use.Electrical tools must be double insulated and have a CE mark. If this is not the case only applianceswith a maximum 42 volt alternating current or batteries may be operated. When the work iscompleted all electrical appliances and machines must be switched off.Only captive-bolt pistols must be used in accordance with statutory regulations. The manufacturer'sinstructions for use must be kept on site for inspection. Such equipment must be stored securely toprevent misuse.3.4.12. Noise protection and reductionAction to be taken● Exceeding the lower trigger values of 80 dB (A):– Instruct staff– Provide ear protection– Offer special occupational health "Noise" examination as soon as the trigger value is reached.● Exceeding the upper trigger values (85 dB (A)):– Set up noise reduction programme with technical or organisational measures– Identify and, if necessary, separate off noisy areas, for example in workshops or construction machineand construction equipment control platforms– Ensure that ear protection is worn by the workers– Arrange for special occupation health "Noise" examinations as soon as the trigger value isreached– Keep a health file.3.4.13. Steel constructionDetermine the attachment points to be used by the PPEaf.
