Alarm / Practice alarmA practice alarm will be carried out at regular intervals by the client or HPE.When the alarm sounds all people must switch off their machines and other equipment, turn off gasbottles etc. and then assemble at the specified meeting points. There your name will be taken inorder to get an idea of the number of people missing. You must look out for people who have notheard the alarm. The person responsible for emergency planning for each subcontractor must determinewho is present at the assembly point and who isn't.After the evacuation HPE and the subcontractors must discuss and record in writing any possibleimprovements to the evacuation procedure.Emergency telephones must be provided on the construction site.3.7.3.1. Emergency numbersThe emergency numbers for the local fire brigade fire, accident, danger safety at work and environmental protectionare recorded differently in the emergency drill depending on the site and the contractor will informhis staff of them.3.7.3.2. Notification channels in the event of emergenciesThe following must be done when making an emergency telephone call: call and say that there is an emergency or an incident or inform the control room of the plant in which work is going on give the location of the emergency or incident, e.g. road, building, side of building, floor,platform describe what has happened, e.g. accident or danger because of fire, gas, water. describe the situation, e.g. give details of and number of injured, type of injury, rescue required give the location of the guide give the name and telephone number of where the call was made stay on the telephone until the message has been understood and confirmed wait for queries.Further procedures can be added at operational level.3.7.3.3.
