The contractor will promise a careful explanationof the cause of the accident and will undertake to avoid a repeat of such an accident in future byselecting suitable measures, if necessary, involving his subcontractor. At HPE's request the contractormust issue a corresponding explanation for it. The contractor will undertake to take part inevent analyses at HPE's request and provide personnel and, if necessary, resources.In addition, at HPE's request, the contractor is bound to explain the details in his accident reportorally.The contractor must inform the contact responsible for carrying out the job on the site immediatelyabout any accidents and damage in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 of the Operational Safety Regulations,so that HPE can comply with the local obligation, to notify the authorities.For slight injuries Sec. 3.5 Adapted work must be noted.3.7.5.2. Other eventsThe notification and analyses of other adverse events must be used logically (see also Sec. 3.3.5).3.7.6. Medical careMedical care must be provided by the nearest hospitals/ specialist doctors.The telephone numbers must be posted with the emergency drill.3.7.7. Construction site emergency serviceDepending on the size of the construction site it will normally have its own emergency services organisedby the client.3.7.8. Rescuing from heightsFor the following events: rescuing and making injured people safe at height initial care at the site of the accident fastest possible transport to ground level, for example:o rescuing from the stanchions by getting out and abseiling to the outer edges of thestanchions,o rescuing from the stanchion by being lowered within the stanchions up to the nextmanhole and then evacuating via crossbars and connecting bridges to the lift.o rescuing from installation sites outside the stanchions by abseilingo rescuing by using a crane and people conveying equipment etc.trained high level rescue experts are required who are normally organised by the client.3.8. Operating instructionsNecessary operating instructions must be compiled by the subcontractors.
